Casa Port Train Station
Casa-Port railway station is part of the ONCF network and is located in the center of Casablanca, close to the port. Trains run to and from the railway station on local and long-distance routes. It is one of the main stations in Casablanca. After 5 years of renovation, it was inaugurated on September 25th, 2014 by His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco. The Casa-Port railway station has a 2,500 m2 travelers hall with many stores and services: restaurants, banks, telephone service providers, etc.
Moreover, station halls are characterized by their roofs, which extend into the square beyond its façades, and their supporting columns, which open out at the top to admit light into the building by means openings in the roof. Glass facades in the hall allow travelers to observe the station's layout before entering. |
